| As a successful executive of a major manufacturing corporation listed on the New York Stock Exchange, Lloyd Roberts traveled the world over many times. Since his retirement in 1995 he has succeeded in his quest to visit all seven continents. |

His talent is not only limited to photography. Though largely self taught Lloyd is an accomplished watercolor artist, and in recent years he began creating bronze sculptures of some of the magnificent creatures he has encountered in the wild.
Photography has become the fulfillment of his real passion. Renowned for their clarity and depth, Robert's photographs captures his animal subjects in their natural habitat. Viewers often comment on his uncanny ability to get "up close and personal" with the animals as they go about their daily lives. The pursuit of this dream has taken him to some of the most unique, remote and spectacular locations in the world.

Some of these locations include the first, and so far only, civilian passage of the most northern route (via the magnetic North Pole) of the Northwest Passage aboard the Russian Ice Breaker Kapitan Klebnikov. The route was sucessfully completed only two times previously during military expeditions. In addition Lloyd has travelled to the Antarctic and was priviledged to have a Humpback Whale rest its chin upon his knee. Further he voyaged for 17 days and 2200 miles from the Atlantic to the Pacific along the Amazon River. He also ventured to the ice floes of the Gulf of Saint Lawrence to photograph the birthing of newborn Harp Seals (photo above).
While Lloyd continues to paint and produce sculptures, it is primarily his photography that has been widely exhibited and featured in some of the leading wildlife publications, such as the cover story for Wildlife Art Magazine, as well as the millennium brochure for expedition travel of Abercrombie & Kent ... a legend in the world of adventure travel since 1969.
Lloyd says that his endeavors are not only fun and exciting, but something he greatly enjoys sharing with others. He takes pride in reliving his travels and experiences with children of all ages. "There is nothing better than seeing a child's face light up when he or she discovers a new land or animal through my photography."
Private collectors own many of Lloyd Roberts` works. In addition, his work may be found gracing the walls of a number of corporate offices and financial institutions around the United States.
